History of Quicks
Started in 1949 as part of a sports business, the founder David George Quick set up on his own in 1959. He travelled around the UK with the founder of Egertons (the Target Makers) visiting sports clubs of many of the UK industrial companies . He helped set up a large number of works clubs and grew the sport of archery in the UK in its early days. The company of Quicks has tried to continue this approach to building the sport over the years.

Quicks has produced a Bowmans Guide every year since 1959 showing a wide range of equipment for Target, Field and Longbow archery every year since. Shops
We have 4 Pro Shops in the UK. They all stock a vast range of archery equipment and are staffed by expert shooters.

Our main shop and headquarters is in Waterlooville on the South Coast of England. Our shop at Apps Court near London has both indoor and outdoor ranges. There are also indoor ranges at our branches in Honiton, Devon and Sapcote near Leicester.

Our Expertise
We have a large store room full of archery equipment, which is run by a small group of active archers. We supply equipment through the mail to all parts of the world. We try to provide a fast and reliable service - most orders are sent same or next day. We also aim to help archers by being available for advice and not to turn our back on you once you have made a purchase. We don't always succeed, but we do our best to help people.
